A real time UX portfolio is simply a collection of living case studies that you can continually improve and build over time.
- A few key things a case studies should show
- Discovery of user needs and business goals
- An understanding of who the audience is
- What data or insights were used (if available)
- What was your process in "getting from here to there" in your design
- A couple of tools you can use:
- Process and project documentation
- Work diary
- Concepts:
- CPI (Continuous Portfolio Integration)
- Quality over quantity
🤷♂️ So if you're like me and you scramble to work on your portfolio when you're looking for a role, you might be interested in building and maintaining a real time UX portfolio
